PROFILE OF DR. MADHU
GUPTA,
Dr Madhu Gupta earned her doctorate degree in
Chemistry with special focus on mixed ligand complexes from renowned Allahabad
University, Allahabad in 1985. She was M.Sc topper and also the recipient of K.P
Chatterji silver medal for best candidate in analytical chemistry. She was the
recipient of junior research fellow and senior research fellowship from CSIR
New Delhi, India for doctoral studies from 1982 to 1987. She was awarded pool
scientist Fellowship from 1987 to 1990 and Research associate from CSIR, New
Delhi, India for post doctoral studies from 1990 to 1995. She commenced her
academic career as lecturer from Allahabad University in 1988.
She is working as a associate professor in UGC
approved aided college in Ghaziabad. She has published 24 papers to her credit
in scopus and referred indexed journals. She has presented many papers in national
and international conferences, seminars. She has delivered many lectures as
guest lecturer, invited speaker, resource person, orientation program and other
faculty program in various universities and institutions. She is moderator, paper
setter, paper evaluator, viva voice examiner of various universities. She was
principal investigator of Ph.D Students 10 doctorate degrees has been awarded
under her supervision. She was awarded major research project from UGC for
research work. Her field of research is computer aided drug designing, development,
modeling, and drug development with special emphasis on Antiviral, Anti-malarial,
Anti-HIV, Anti-hypertensive, Anti-cancerous, Anti-tuberculosis drugs,
Toxicology and Environment pollution. At a present she is pursuing research on
drug Discovery with a unique focus on the social factor that increasingly play
a role in how drug development is planned ,structured and executed throughout
the drug Product life cycle.
